シカゴ育ちで、幼い頃から少女漫画、特に魔法少女ものに魅了されてきた。アメリカにいながらも、強く戦う女性たちの姿に心を奪われ、その美しい戦う精神を音楽へと昇華させている。90年代から2000年代初頭のノスタルジーを感じさせるサウンドを軸にしながら、ジャンルの枠にとらわれない自由な音楽性を展開。

2023年には、デビュー曲三部作「BREATHE」「MAHOU」「AWAKE」をリリース。この三部作は、音楽の道に踏み出した自身の決意と、それによって救われた過程を描いたもの。アメリカの「海外アイドル」シーンにも積極的に関わり、米国内10州でライブ公演を行ってきた。2024年10月にはアメリカ最大級のアイドルフェス「ノースウェストアイドルフェス」に出演。また日本国内でも4つの都道府県で公演を行っている。

chérie ifẹの音楽は多様なジャンルからインスピレーションを受けており、さまざまな音楽シーンに溶け込む独自のスタイルを確立している。目指すのは、音楽を通じて「GIRL'S COUNTERCULTURE」を創り出し、日本・アメリカ、そして世界中の女性たちの共通した経験を記録し、響かせること。

Raised in Chicago, she was captivated by shōjo manga, especially magical girl stories, from a young age. While living in America, she was deeply moved by the portrayals of strong, fighting women, channeling their spirit into her music. Centered around a sound evoking nostalgia for the 90s and early 2000s, she developed a free musicality unconstrained by genre boundaries.

In 2023, she released her debut trilogy: “BREATHE,” “MAHOU,” and “AWAKE.” This trilogy depicts her own resolve to embark on a musical path and the process of being saved by it. She has been actively involved in the American “overseas idol” scene, performing live shows at 10 different states within the U.S. In October 2024, she performed at the Northwest IdolFest, one of America's largest idol festivals. She has also performed in 4 different prefectures across Japan.

chérie ifẹ's music draws inspiration from diverse genres, establishing a unique style that seamlessly blends into various music scenes. Her goal is to create a “GIRL'S COUNTERCULTURE” through music, documenting and resonating with the shared experiences of women in Japan, America, and around the world.
